Many farmers and others who are faced with foreclosure by one of the lending institutions, go to attorneys for help. Most attorneys are willing to take the victim's money, but the assistance they give can be determined by a poll taken by an organization call Family Farm Foreclosure Assistance Project (FFFLAP).
FFFLAP polled 641 people who had been in court within the past two years [1985] facing one of the following: The government, lending institutions or large corporations. The poll showed that:
